Dua

Dua Lipa (born in London) is an English musician and singer who was born on August 22 1995, in London United Kingdom. Dua Lipa signed with Warner Bros Records in 2014 after working as a model. She dropped her debut album, self-titled in the year 2017. It reached third place at the top of the U.K. albums chart and had eight singles, which included the U.K. top ten hit song New Rules and Be the One I.D.G.A.F. Lipa has been awarded the Brit Awards for British female solo artist as well as British debut act in 2018. The album was certified platinum throughout the world. Dua Lipa was born in London by Kosovo Albanian parents Anesa rexha (mother) and Dukagjin lilipa (father). Through her maternal grandparent, Dua Lipa is Bosnian. Her ancestors are also tracked back to Peja, the Kosovo city of Peja. Lipa's grand-fathers were both history professors. The siblings of Lipa are Rina and Gjin. Lipa was musically influenced by her father who also serves as the lead guitar player and the singer of the Kosovan the group Oda. The music played by her father was at home, and included songs by David Bowie Bob Dylan Radiohead The Police Stereophonics. Lipa was just five years old when she first began to sing. When she was in her 9th year she began singing at Sylvia Young Theater School. Lipa sang Beautiful by Christina Aguilera And If Ain't Give It To You from Alicia Keys. In 2014, Lipa has signed a deal with Warner Bros. Records. In August of 2015 the debut track of hers New Love came out.
